Getting back into life drawing

The Monkey's been trying to get back into the habit of going to life drawing.

Still quite rusty, but here are some (fairly) recent ones:

More sketch pads

These are taken from a number of sketch pads, all done between September last year and summer this year.....

Retiring sketch-pad #2

Another sketch pad filled. Probably not as many good ones in this one as the last one, which would have been ok if it hadn't been for the fact that this one is newer.... (fall 2007)

Retiring Sketch-pads #1

Every Monday (or at most Mondays) the Monkey tries to attend life drawing to keep his feeble drawing skills at a passable level at least. Since these sessions usually consist of 2 hours of short (2-5 minute) poses the whole affair consumes quite a lot of paper, usually in the form of huge A3 sketch pads.

As time goes by these stack up taking a fair amount of space, so I've finally decided to clear away some of the old ones. However, before going into storage I figured I could go through them and find the "best" drawings from each pad.

So, rather randomly selected, this one is the first:

These are from late summer, early fall this year (I seem to remember), and as you can see most of them are taken from one relatively inspired session. Some times it's just easier than others I suppose....
